Spirito economista e le lezioni pisane del 1932-35

During the 1930s the problem of the relations between individual, society and State reopened. The economists faced the issue on the basis of the means-ends scheme elaborated by Lionel Robbins and proposed several solutions to way out from the classical liberalism crisis. The aim of this work is to assess the solution of Ugo Spirito. The article is structured into three brief paragraphs. In the first one, we will see the neoliberalism of Luigi Einaudi, in the second one the catholic corporatism of Francesco Vito, in the last one the absolute corporatism of Ugo Spirito.
