With this work we present some updates to the vascular flora of the Island of Giglio, thanks to recent field collections (carried out in 2018 and 2020) and herbarium investigations. We confirmed 30 native taxa historically reported for the Island but not recorded in the last 100 years, and the presence of a native species of phytogeographic interest. Moreover, we added the historical presence of a native species not previously confirmed, and other two taxa confirmed by our collections and never reported in previous literature but already present in historical specimens. Finally, we reported four new alien taxa (two casual and two naturalized species) found for the first time on the Island. Our data highlight the necessity of an updated flora of the Island, aiming to the confirmation of not found taxa and updating the systematic information regarding taxa whose systematics position may be doubtful or has been changed in recent times.

Abstract
Our data highlight the necessity of an updated flora of the Island, aiming to the confirmation of not found taxa and updating the systematic information regarding taxa whose systematics position may be doubtful or has been changed in recent times.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
