The contribution briefly traces the birth and development of Augmented Reality, reflecting on the potential and applications that this recent technology has also demonstrated in the field of education. In particular, the research dwells on the relationship between children’s literature and Augmented Reality about the revolutions it entails both from a narrative point of view and in terms of content fruition. Finally, the article proposes some examples of recent works.
