The article offers a summary of the arguments spent at the national and international level about the regularisation as an extraordinary measure to face health, economic and social crises suffered by migrant workforce because of Covid-19. In addition, the critical aspects of the regularisation promoted by the Italian government through the Decree Law No. 34/2020, are highlighted. In conclusion, criticism is raised about the use of the regularisation as a mean to solve structural problems faced by migrant workers in Italy among which exploitation and marginalisation.

Abstract
