The use of Bayesian inference for conformity assessment purposes is illustrated. Measurement uncertainty is taken into account. Two applications are discussed in detail: The assessment of conformity of a series production by using the 80%/80% criterion adopted by several product standards in the sector of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and the assessment of the uniformity of the field strength over a surface or within a volume as required by the basic EMC standards on radiated immunity (e.g. IEC 61000-4-3 and IEC 61000-4-20).

Abstract
The use of Bayesian inference for conformity assessment purposes is illustrated. Measurement uncertainty is taken into account. Two applications are discussed in detail: The assessment of conformity of a series production by using the 80%/80% criterion adopted by several product standards in the sector of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and the assessment of the uniformity of the field strength over a surface or within a volume as required by the basic EMC standards on radiated immunity (e.g. IEC 61000-4-3 and IEC 61000-4-20).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
