Kidney transplantation (KT) is a fascinating but challenging field that demands a complex dedicated pathway and a strong multidisciplinary mindset [1]. The European Association of Urology (EAU) has always stressed the importance of keeping KT expertise and knowl- edge within the urology community through the develop- ment of robust international collaborative networks, including the EAU Section of Transplantation Urology (ESTU), the European Robotic Urology Section (ERUS) Robot-assisted KT (RAKT) working group, and recently the EAU Young Academic Urologist KT working group (https:// uroweb.org). Despite the significant contribution provided by urologists to advances in this field [2,3], there is still a lack of evidence regarding precisely how urologists are involved in KT programmes across European countries. To fill this gap, our group developed a survey with the following aims: (1) to provide an overview of the number of European transplant programmes led by urologists; and (2) to assess how urologists contribute to such programmes.

Abstract
To fill this gap, our group developed a survey with the following aims: (1) to provide an overview of the number of European transplant programmes led by urologists; and (2) to assess how urologists contribute to such programmes.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
