Rantila is the provisional name for the fall products, for a total recovered mass of about 6 kg, of a meteorite shower occurred on August 17, 2022 in Rantila, Gujarat, India. This fall is not yet officially recognized and classified, therefore the main purpose of this study is to define its mineralogy and petrology through the investigation of two fragments (about 1.3 x 1 x 0.5 cm) showing different mineral assemblages and textures.
