The paper shows one of the first results of the research conducted by Spoke 3 of the National Biodiversity Future Centre, which aims to investigate design strategies and innovative technological solutions to promote the resilient regeneration of urban districts in southern Europe, reducing their vulnerability to climate risks and improving social and environmental quality. Accordingly, the urban regeneration project of Piazza Carlo Dolci in Florence will be presented to validate an innovative approach methodology based on the adoption of predictive analyses useful to guide the final choice of public administration towards resilient solutions capable of positively modifying the environmental layout of the building environment.
