There is a growing awareness of the need for action to address the ecological emergency. The 2030 Agenda is widely shared around the world, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent global moral values. The 9 Planetary Boundaries (PBs) feature the constraints of the planet within which human beings can continue to develop and prosper in a sustainable manner. The Vision 2050 proposes a strategy of 9 transformation pathways so that more than 9 billion people may live in good conditions within PBs. The transformation pathways are designed to translate the SDGs into actionable areas of business activity. There is evidence that Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Vision (CV) can contribute to achieving the SDGs.
