The use of Lithium-ion batteries is growing at significantly high rate in many different technological fields. The performances of such devices are deeply affected by the operating conditions. Among them, temperature plays a critical role in the degradation process of Lithium-Ion cells. An important parameter that could be used to analyze this degradation is the Arrhenius's activation energy. However, few study investigate this problem in recent literature. Thus, in this work an experimental measurement setup is proposed to test batteries under different temperature conditions, leading to different wear-out processes depending on the temperature value. The capacity of the battery as a function of the charge- discharge cycle is used to estimate the activation energy by means of the Arrhenius Plot. Multiple scenarios considering different State of Health of the batteries have been considered, estimating the activation energy as a function of the actual battery degradation.

Abstract
Multiple scenarios considering different State of Health of the batteries have been considered, estimating the activation energy as a function of the actual battery degradation.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
