The article presents a qualitative study on the information coverage of the phenomenon of hate and anti-Semitism in Italy through the analysis of the contents published by the main media in the two-year period 2020-2021, the years of the pandemic crisis. After a brief theoretical overview, the data collected are presented and discussed, focusing in particular on the journalistic communication of the new forms of anti-Semitic hatred in relation to the socio-cultural and temporal context of reference. The analysis carried out was based on three main dimensions: - the type of content/topic published; - the social actors involved in the information process; - the macro-themes chosen within the media agenda. Elements capable of influencing the narrative and the social perception of the other in the face of cases of anti-Semitism or hate speech, easily found in an increasingly ‘uncivilised’ public sphere.

Abstract
Elements capable of influencing the narrative and the social perception of the other in the face of cases of anti-Semitism or hate speech, easily found in an increasingly ‘uncivilised’ public sphere.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
