The article illustrates the presence, in the Italian context, of Documentation Centres and Libraries specialized in the LGBTQ+ movement, their genesis and organization. Furthermore, the peculiar characteristics of the materials preserved in them are illustrated. Finally, some parallels between these realities and the libraries of the feminist movement are analyzed.
