Background: Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) has become widely used for a variety of primary and secondary malignancies. In 2013 a national working group (WG) on the physics aspects of SBRT has been created to support medical physicists implementing the very high dose hypo-fractionation treatments (AIFM/SBRT-WG) and to disseminate the culture of stereotactic treatments all-over the country. Material and Methods: Starting in 2018 a bi-monthly online JC was proposed. The coordinators of the AIFM/SBRT-WG acted as facilitators and all the members of the WG were invited to propose papers on specific SBRT topics to be discussed. The selected paper was shared in advance so that all attendees could study it before the JC. In some cases, the same authors of the paper were involved to discuss it. Preliminary Results: So far 21 online JCs were organized. The meeting was structured into two parts: a first one (15 minutes) was dedicated to present the article and a second one (30 minutes) to discuss it. An average of 29 online accounts (i.e. >45 medical physicists) participated to the JCs. The SBRT issues which have attracted considerable attention were small field dosimetry, in vivo dosimetry, planning, motion management, radiobiology, automation. In four cases, the JC topic gave the chance for further insights and scientific articles (dosimetry and small field planning), a letter to the Editor (online pancreatic re-planning) and to build a specific subgroup about knowledge-based multi-center planning. In three cases, the speakers were international experts in the field. The experience of AIFM/SBRT-WG has proved the usefulness of online JC for enhancing the knowledge in SBRT field; a growth in collaboration among JC participants by increasing scientific questions during the meeting and debate has been observed over time. Following our experience, other AIFM WGs have been proposing online JC
