The category of Care, as an ontological category of pedagogy, represents one of the theoretical architraves and empirical perspectives that animate and guide educational theory-practice. It is clearly distinguished from the care practised in the medical-health field, because taking 'Care of' means, according to the pedagogical perspective, considering two directions: on the one hand is Self-Care (that is attention to the Self), and on the other hand as the development of all the potentialities of the person we are taking care of.
