In the contemporary context, the synergy between design and artificial intelligence (AI) is developing as a field of increasing relevance. AI, traditionally associated with fields such as robotics, medicine, and finance, is now also significantly impacting design, mainly interior design. Adopting advanced technologies and machine learning algorithms expands designers' creative and functional capabilities, facilitating more efficient and innovative processes. This paper explores the intersection between design and artificial intelligence, providing an overview of the current role of AI in interior design, as well as its future potential and prospects for integration. An attempt will be made to demonstrate how these two disciplines can work in synergy, influencing each other and shaping new ways of design.
