Levantamientos de los complejos religiosos de São João del Rei, Minas Gerais

The paper presents a research project on the digital documentation of the religious architectural heritage of Minas Gerais, with a particular focus on São João del-Rei. Using laser scanning and photogrammetry, three-dimensional data and textures were acquired for the documentation of churches such as São Francisco de Assis and Nossa Senhora do Carmo. The integrated methodology allowed for the creation of detailed graphic models, revealing architectural and decorative features essential for understanding Barroco Mineiro in the Brazilian context. The project results provided a deeper understanding of design decisions and ornamental characteristics of typical Barroco Mineiro churches, highlighting the adaptation of classical architectural forms to the local baroque culture
