In this contribution, we describe different levels of orchestration and management to be adopted in a cross domain Terrestrial and Non Terrestrial Network exploiting the most recent architectures defined for the Core Network since we propose to extend the control of the optical fiber links also to the ones operating in Non Terrestrial Networks, and mainly based on Free Space Optics (FSO). In particular, the NETCONF protocol is proposed for the Southbound interfaces. © 2024 IEEE.

Abstract
In this contribution, we describe different levels of orchestration and management to be adopted in a cross domain Terrestrial and Non Terrestrial Network exploiting the most recent architectures defined for the Core Network since we propose to extend the control of the optical fiber links also to the ones operating in Non Terrestrial Networks, and mainly based on Free Space Optics (FSO). In particular, the NETCONF protocol is proposed for the Southbound interfaces. © 2024 IEEE.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
