I sirventesi di Hue de la Ferté

L’esigua produzione del troviero Hue de la Ferté è senza ombra di dubbio uno dei pochi esempi di poesia storico-politica all’interno del panorama lirico antico-francese, e pertanto meritevole di attenzione. Il contributo non soltanto ne propone un’aggiornata edizione critica e commentata, ma anche una nuova ipotesi di datazione, preceduta da un attento riesame delle congetture fin qui avanzate al riguardo. L’idea risultante è che i tre testi abbiano visto la luce a poca distanza l’uno dall’altro, probabilmente intorno alla prima metà del 1230, e siano quindi parte di un disegno unitario atto da un lato a screditare i nemici del partito dei grandi feudatari francesi, dall’altro a esaltare ed esprimere i valori fondanti dello stesso. // The small production of the trouvère Hue de la Ferté is undoubtedly one of the few examples of historico-political poetry in the Old-French lyrical panorama, and therefore is worthy of attention. The essay not only offers a new critical and explained edition, but also a new dating hypothesis, based on an accurate re-examination of the dating conjectures made so far. The resulting idea is that the three texts were written one close to the other, probably around the first semester of the 1230, as a part of one homogeneous project aiming on the one hand to discredit the enemies of the Baron’s party, on the other hand to glorify and express the values on which the party was constructed.
