Abstract

Extending our previous results, in this paper we present a theoretical improvement of a strategy for the identification of binary images with algebraic boundaries. Such identification is obtained from few samples and it is based on a representation of the image shape in terms of non-separable bivariate Bernstein polynomials piecewisely defined over triangular domains.& COPY; 2023 The Author(s).
