Costruire una comunità organizzata nelle pratiche "in azione": il ruolo degli attori coinvolti

The paper proposes some reflections on the roles in practices that move within action-research framework: the role of the University as a territorial engagement, the role of individuals in nurturing a process of community building, and the role of a leadership within a collective entity. It presents the process in action of a small committee, with the partnership of the University of Florence, for the construction of the Ombrone River Agreement. When the community dimension meets the political-institutional dimension, and one replaces the other, a fracture is created within the process in action. When the chairman of the committee becomes Mayor, the generative capacity of the process undergoes an abrupt halt. It’s important to understand how far a community can push itself in an attempt to affect its institutional decision-making processes. The goal is to introduce some elements of debate for research and institutions.
