This volume collects the essays presented during the third Congress of the Italian Society for the Study of Historical-Educational Heritage (SIPSE), which took place at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan on 14 and 15 December 2023. The contributions presented here all stem from the desire to apply the Public History approach to historical-educational heritage. The book is divided into three sections: the first presents theoretical and methodological reflections on the topic, the second presents teaching experiences and activities in the area, and the third focuses on the analysis and narration of the sources. Taken as a whole, the contributions put forward perspectives of analysis, work proposals, projects implemented and to be implemented, which provide an extremely rich and significant cross-section of the multiple possibilities of exploration, narration and restitution of the historical-educational heritage. The added value is given precisely by the key of Public History, which allows us to go beyond the narrow confines of the Academy to establish a lively and participatory dialogue with the different souls of society, in a perspective of valorisation of the historical-educational heritage, as wide and inclusive as possible.
