The essay highlights some guidelines on the publishing events that affected the Ferrara Lega- tion from the Mid-Seventeenth Century to the end of the Century. Once the Suzzi enterprise left the scene, a group of printers animated the Ferrara book market, enjoying, in some cases, the institutional recognition. The analysis serves as a link between the work on Vittorio Baldini and his heirs, that on Francesco Suzzi in the first fifty years of the Seventeenth Century, and Ranieri Varese’s monograph on Ferrara printing in the Eighteenth Century.
