Il viaggiatore del secolo breve: István Rácz tra Ungheria, Italia e Finlandia

Nel saggio viene presentata la figura di István Rácz, affermatosi come fotografo d'arte in Finlandia, attraverso le tappe fondamentali della sua biografia, che lo videro testimone di varie vicende fondamentali del Novecento, prima fra tutte la "guerra d'inverno" di cui fu probabilmente il primo fotografo "ufficiale". La biografia di questo artista, che tra l'altro tradusse il Kalevala in ungherese, è qui considerata come uno dei possibili "specchi" del secolo breve. *** The article presents the life and works of István Rácz, who established himself as an art photographer in Finland, through the fundamental stages of his biography, which saw him as a witness to various fundamental events of the twentieth century, first of all the "winter war" of which he was probably the first "official" photographer. The biography of this artist, who among other things translated the Kalevala into Hungarian, is considered here as one of the possible "mirrors" of the "short century".
