Raffaello e Crema. Un omaggio monocromo all’Urbinate nell’anno del suo cinquecentenario (1520-2020)

In occasione del cinquecentenario della morte di Raffaello Sanzio (1483-1520), il Museo Civico di Crema e del Cremasco espone sei stampe incise tra la seconda metà del Settecento e l’Ottocento che raffigurano celebri opere dell’artista urbinate e della sua scuola. Su scala ridotta, le stampe raffigurano i soggetti tratti da dipinti su tavola, una pittura murale e un arazzo. On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of Raffaello Sanzio (1483-1520), the Museo Civico di Crema e del Cremasco displays six prints engraved between the second half of the eighteenth century and the nineteenth that depict celebrated works by the artist and his school. On a small scale, the prints depict subjects drawn from paintings on wood, a wall painting and a tapestry.
