In recent years, the search for the overall quality of the vertical closure system has been developing by seeking the progressive increase in the performance to which this technological system is called to respond, favouring the development of dry layering over traditional wet layering. This has meant that the fire safety of people and property as a result of the use of such technological solutions is also evolving rapidly, generating the issuance of increasingly specific and detailed regulations and guides. Defining the rules for proper fire safety design of façades therefore appears to be particularly difficult as complex and multiple types of façades can be realized today, which are characterized by specific performance even differing from each other in size or in the presence or absence of a few elements and components. The article, also thanks to an excursus on recent regulations in the European and national spheres, aims to take stock of the situation on the fire design of mechanically mounted vertical closure systems.

Abstract
The article, also thanks to an excursus on recent regulations in the European and national spheres, aims to take stock of the situation on the fire design of mechanically mounted vertical closure systems.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
