Following the footsteps of the legacy of architects such as Muzharul Islam, the Shah Muhammad Mohshin Khan Mausoleum, designed by Sthapotik (Dhaka, Bangladesh), integrates contemporary influences and research paths with the material and conceptual elements rooted in the context in which it originates and from which it draws nourishment. By fostering a continuous dialogue between the artefact and its surroundings, between tectonics and light – of the sun, the moon, the stars, or candles –, the small building creates a harmonious tension between the stability and self-referential integrity of its Form and the fluctuating, infinite rhythm of nature.

Abstract
Following the footsteps of the legacy of architects such as Muzharul Islam, the Shah Muhammad Mohshin Khan Mausoleum, designed by Sthapotik (Dhaka, Bangladesh), integrates contemporary influences and research paths with the material and conceptual elements rooted in the context in which it originates and from which it draws nourishment. By fostering a continuous dialogue between the artefact and its surroundings, between tectonics and light – of the sun, the moon, the stars, or candles –, the small building creates a harmonious tension between the stability and self-referential integrity of its Form and the fluctuating, infinite rhythm of nature.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
