Sito web del progetto interdisciplinare "Questioni d'onore. Immaginario, rappresentazioni e realtà del duello nella cultura italiana dal Risorgimento al fascismo" (PRIN 2022 - CUP B53D23022150006), volto a indagare il fenomeno del duello (e il valore dell'onore in cui esso si radica) nelle sue ragioni storiche, sociali e culturali, attraverso lo studio di fonti e documenti d’epoca, delle testimonianze lasciate nel lessico e nella fraseologia, dell’immaginario letterario, teatrale e cinematografico che ruota intorno ad esso. Il sito offre un database di Fonti d'epoca (trattatistica, codici, letteratura e memorialistica, teatro, cinema, dizionari), una Bibliografia di studi moderni sull'argomento (dal 1945 a oggi), e un Glossario del lessico della pratica duellistica presente nelle fonti prodotte nel periodo di riferimento del progetto. Website of the interdisciplinary project 'A Question of Honor. Duels in Italian Culture from the Risorgimento to the Fascist Period, between Imaginary, Representation, and Reality" (PRIN 2022 - CUP B53D23022150006). The project aims to investigate the phenomenon of duelling (and the value of honour on which it is based) through the study of historical, social and cultural sources and documents, as well as the lexicon and phraseology surrounding it, and literary, theatrical and cinematic imagery. The website provides a database of historical sources, including treatises, codices, literature, memoirs, theatre, cinema and dictionaries. It also offers a bibliography of modern studies on the subject from 1945 to the present day and a glossary of terms related to duelling found in sources from the project's reference period.
