Abstract
Can we continue to regard health solely as a totally anthropocentric stable "state," as the biomedical paradigm appears to suggest? Is the concept of sociality limited to human agency? These issues are inextricably linked to how we define our bodily boundaries and how we see the environment and its relationships. Focusing on digital health and host-microbiome interactions, I use the notion of sympoiesis—a system's potential to form profitable connections—to an ecological and non-dualistic approach to health, human individuality, and the environment. The new vision will involve reconnecting culture, nature, and technology.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
