The embedded system developed with low-cost components and based on IoT demonstrated satisfactory performance for thermal monitoring in animal facilities, achieving a Success Rate of Transmissions of 94.13% and a predominant Data Reception Interval of 1 minute. These results indicate that the system has the potential to meet the needs of small and medium-sized producers in developing countries. By providing accurate and real-time data, the system minimizes errors associated with traditional methods, enabling more informed environmental control decisions. The adoption of this monitoring solution can drive the modernization of animal production, enhance productivity, and contribute to improved animal welfare.
