This article investigates previously unexamined autograph manuscripts found in the archival drafts of Microcosmi by Claudio Magris. Through a detailed philological analysis of the chapters "Giardino pubblico" and "La volta", the study highlights the process of textual transformation, focusing on deletions, revisions, and the masking of autobiographical elements. These "sinopie," or preliminary sketches, are likened to narrative fractals—structures that reflect the author's method of gradual condensation and stylistic stratification.
