The essay addresses the concept of “social homogeneity” within the work of one of the most interesting jurists and political thinkers of the Weimar period: Hermann Heller. The aim is to discuss such a concept as his personal reflection on the Weimar crisis and as an interesting point of view about the never-ending issue for democratic governments and societies of how to reach a compromise between social plurality and political unity.
