Esperienza e politica della rivolta

The article reviews some contemporary readings of the phenomenon of urban riots as a widespread political practice, linking the re-emergence of this phenomenon to transformations in the dynamics of social exclusion and thus class identities. Drawing on the analyses of Joshua Clover or Sylvain Lazarus, the analysis attempts to show how the return to a capitalist organisation based on the circulation of commodities brings back to the centre, after the long phase of hegemony of the repertoire of strike and unitary mass struggles, strategies and habits of conflict based on revolt, the decline of recognisable so- cial subjects and their representation.
