The 2025 third issue of the Australian Journal of Career Development (AJCD) continues to serve as an international platform where scholars and practitioners can share research, insights, and reflections on career development and emerging challenges in the field. Regarding new opportunities, Sustainability Science (Komiyama & Takeuchi, 2006; Sahle et al., 2025; Takeuchi et al., 2017) constitutes a pillar in the current literature introducing interesting perspectives. This transdisciplinary field explores the interactions between natural and social systems in addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs; United Nations, 2015). The Psychology of Sustainability and Sustainable Development (PSSD; Di Fabio, 2017a, 2017b; Di Fabio & Cooper, 2023; Di Fabio & Peiró, 2018, 2023; Di Fabio & Rosen, 2018, 2020; Rosen & Di Fabio, 2023) provides psychological lenses to enable contributions to understanding these complex interactions and enriching the transdisciplinary approach.
