Abstract
The pattern of present and ancient landslide occurrence is considered of notable importance in the evolution of the probable distribution of similar landslides in future earthquakes. For this reason the ground-failure regional distribution in the seismic area of Mugello (Tuscany, Italy) affected by earthquakes up to a M=6,5, is surveyed with the view to determining to which possible extent it is influenced by bfactors such as lithology, regional fracture system, slope steepness, severity of seismic shaking as amplified bt slope geometry. A landslide density map, obtained from aerial photographs coupled with ground fieldwork, is utilized to discuss the possible relationships with the factor taken into considerationI documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
