Geological, lithological geomorphological and anthopogenic parameters which influence or cause slope instability of wide representative area inside Valdarno basin (100km2)are presented. In order to estimate the relationship between the distribution of mass movements and to model slopes affected by landslides, and local lithological and morphological variations, a morphometric computer analysis was carried out.
