The paper presents some of the results of the REVERSING project financed by the PR-FESR of the Tuscany Region 2021-2027 and aimed at developing a prefabricated, modular and dry-assembled façade system to be implemented for the retrofitting of existing school buildings, inspired by the principles of biophilic design and implemented with low environmental impact materials through additive manufacturing processes. The intent is to demonstrate the feasibility of establishing positive, market-oriented technology transfer models within the 3D printing supply chain, actively contributing to the development of new envelope solutions that meet the ever-changing needs and challenges in the construction sector.

Abstract
