Some examples of historical towns typical of Tuscan geological, geomorphological, geotechnical and urbanistic environments affected by instability phenomena are described. The main aim of the study is the identification of the evolutionary model of the henomena for planning the measures for the prevention and mitigation of the hazard situations.
