Il paper introduce i due numeri della rivista Junco (2/2024 e 1/2025) che riportano i contributi presentati all’VIII convegno della rete CUCS – Coordinamento Universitario per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo – che ha avuto luogo presso l’Università degli Studi di Firenze dal 12 al 14 settembre 2024. Il convegno, intitolato “Università e Cooperazione: le sfide contemporanee. Ricerca, formazione, cooperazione territoriale e diplomazia scientifica”, è stato dedicato all’approfondimento, in una prospettiva comparata e transdisciplinare, delle molteplici sfide che la cooperazione è chiamata ad affrontare nel mondo contemporaneo. This paper introduces the two issues of the journal Junco (2/2024 and 1/2025), which feature the contributions presented at the 8th conference of the CUCS network – University Coordination for Development Cooperation – which took place at the University of Florence from 12 to 14 September 2024. The conference, entitled “University and Cooperation: Contemporary Challenges. Research, Training, Territorial Cooperation and Scientific Diplomacy,” was dedicated to examining, from a comparative and transdisciplinary perspective, the many challenges that cooperation is called upon to face in the contemporary world.
