This study presents the results of a teaching experiment conducted within a university course in “Translation Theory and Technique”. Through a module dedicated to Linguistic Landscape, students were involved in practical activities of collection, analysis and creation of multilingual urban signs. The course allowed them to integrate theoretical knowledge with translation, linguistic and semiotic skills. The results suggest that an approach based on Linguistic Landscape fosters the development of multidimensional translation competence, allowing students to critically reflect on the linguistic and translation choices adopted in urban and commercial contexts, with relevant implications for the training of future translators and cultural mediators.

Abstract
