Through the combined lenses of territorial archaeology and light archaeology, the Syuni, Bagratid and Orbelean dynasties are seen to have had a role in shaping the landscape in medieval Yeghegis. The study highlights how shifting elite agency shaped territorial landmarking, bridging local Armenian traditions with Eurasian imperial entanglements.
