Two large scale landslides in Tuscany are described. These are characterized by different materials and movement typologies. They correspond to evolution of paleo-landslides or amcient instability situations, which have either been triggered of once again or which present new movements caused by extreme climatic situations or by particular geomorphological conditions, sometimes accelerated by human intervention.
