Muralis is an international research project developed by the University of Florence and Delft University of Technology as part of the R3NEW doctoral program. It presents a 3D-printed, multi-performance clay façade component designed to support the growth of Cymbalaria muralis, promoting urban biodiversity and ecological resilience. Combining digital fabrication, parametric design, and interdisciplinary collaboration, Muralis reinterprets traditional clay as a bio-inclusive, low-impact Nature-based Solution aligned with contemporary sustainability and circularity goals.
