A REGISTER OF EXPENDITURES FROM THE BRITISH LIBRARY

This article presents the first edition of a papyrus preserved at the British Library in London (Pap. 1588B). The document is a register of expenditures related to the meetings of an association of men bearing Greek and Latin names, including a priest and a temple assistant. It provides information about the organization of gatherings, the attendance to banquets, the money contributions and the bookkeeping system.
