An important element of the NA62 particle identification is the RICH detector which identifies μ+ and π+ in the momentum range between 15 and 35 GeV/c with a muon rejection factor larger than 100. The RICH PID performance within the K+→π+νν̄ analysis and the search for the K+→π−e+e+ decay are discussed.

Abstract
An important element of the NA62 particle identification is the RICH detector which identifies μ+ and π+ in the momentum range between 15 and 35 GeV/c with a muon rejection factor larger than 100. The RICH PID performance within the K+→π+νν̄ analysis and the search for the K+→π−e+e+ decay are discussed.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
