How can we separate the revision process that housing has been going through in recent years from the new forms of collective living? For the past few decades, more and more examples have been making tangible the push toward new ways of conceiving housing, sociality and, by extension, the city. Analysis of these examples shows how living can no longer be resolved in the space bounded by the four domestic walls: open spaces and volumes, exterior and interior, all assume equal dignity.
