OptForEU develops a data-driven Decision Support System (DSS) to help forest managers and policymakers evaluate forest management strategies under different climate and policy scenarios. The paper presents the project from an Information Systems perspective, highlighting challenges related to data integration, interdisciplinary collaboration, and stakeholder co-creation in developing decision-support tools for sustainable forest management.
