This study aims to unveil the tourism potential of lighthouse accommodation within the contemporary hospitality industry, positioning it as an emerging niche rooted in experiential and heritage-based tourism. The paper adopts a conceptual and critical reflection approach. It explores lighthouse accommodation through a multidisciplinary lens, drawing from tourism, hospitality, and management studies. Lighthouse accommodation represents a promising yet underexplored segment of the hospitality industry. This study identifies its potential across three tourism domains—escape, heritage, and dark tourism—highlighting its regenerative, symbolic, and experiential value. The study offers a novel contribution by conceptualizing lighthouse accommodation as a distinctive and underutilized setting within the hospitality industry. Moreover, it reframes lighthouses as high-potential assets for innovation, sustainability, and differentiation in niche hospitality markets.
