Scattering from an azimuthally periodic cylindrical structure is carried out with the objective of minimizing, with a systematic strategy, the number of times required to analyze the basic periodic sector, and the number of Hankel functions needed for describing the scattered field. A hybrid FEM/BEM has been implemented for validation.
