Il documento longobardo datato all'anno 748 (una "cartula testamenti" scritta da un vescovo) e il testo longobardo attribuito a un periodo anteriore al 769 ("breve de moniminas": un elenco), entrambi originali provenienti da Pisa, sono stati oggetto di ricorrenti studi nell'arco di più di un secolo, di edizioni critiche e commentari paleografici (rispettivamente come Codice diplomatico longobardo 93 /ChLA 803 e Codice diplomatico longobardo 295 / ChLA 808), nonché oggetto di divergenti datazioni e interpretazioni ad opera di storici, paleografi e diplomatisti (fra i quali, Luigi Schiaparelli, Armando Petrucci, Jan-Olof Tjäder per citarne alcuni). Con questo studio composto di due parti (I. Due vescovi per un testamento, pp. 2-38, II. Il breve de moniminas per Ghittia, pp. 38-69) l'Autrice presenta ulteriori argomentazioni storiche, paleografiche e diplomatistiche per offrire una interpretazione nuova dei due testi (e una nuova edizione critica, nel caso del "breve de moniminas"), che non costituiscono soltanto testimonianze eccezionali per la storia di Pisa longobarda: perché possono a ragione essere considerate esemplari e significative per lo studio in generale della tradizione documentaria dei Longobardi, e della loro cultura scritta. The lombard document of the year 748 (a "cartula testamenti" written by a bishop of Pisa) and the lombard text attributed to the period before the year 769 ("breve de moniminas": a list) – both originals from Pisa – have been the subject of several studies – in particular during the 20th century –, they are also published in critical edition and in paleographical transcription (respectively in Codice diplomatico longobardo 93 /ChLA 803 and Codice diplomatico longobardo 295 / ChLA 808) and they have been dated and interpreted in divergent ways by several historians and scholars of palaeograhy and diplomatics (among them, Luigi Schiaparelli, Armando Petrucci, Jan-Olof Tjäder). With the present work, which is composed of two parts (I. Due vescovi per un testamento, pp. 2-38; II. Il breve de moniminas per Ghittia, pp. 38-69), the Author aims to present further argumentations (both from the point of view of the history and of the palaeography and diplomatics) and finally a new interpretation (and a new critical edition too, in the case of the breve de moniminas) of these two texts, which are not only exceptional sources for the history of Pisa in the lombard period, but also 'model texts' and significant sources to understand the documentary heritage of the Lombards and their written world.
