The classical Ceradini–Capurso–Maier's theorem in small strain plasticity with isotropic hardening is extended to cover cases of general description of hardening in elasto-plastic Cauchy continua, Cosserat plasticity and strain-gradient plasticity under hypotheses of rate-independence and associativity. The treatment deals with the small strain regime and non-linear hardening rules.
